The best restaurant/bar in the Boro
The Bunganut Pig stands alone in Murfreesboro. It doesn't feel like it belongs here, but we're fortunate enough to have it all to ourselves. As a typical bar it leaves much to be desired. Of course, the typical Murfreesboro bar is nothing but a collection of a)rednecks, b)stoners, or c)drunk college students in their early to mid-20s who still watch TRL on MTV to see if Justin and Britney are back together. So saying that the Bunganut Pig is different, is good. It's a British-style pub with enough room to be comfy and room for live music, which is hit or miss, as Murfreesboro tends to be. Nice Pub, Good Food
An odd restaurant, but on target with what counts!

Want the very best and friendliest service? Sorry, this is not the place. Sorta get treated like its your big brother or sister seating you. But, once seated the food comes hot and fast and never misses.

I'll compare their steaks to any 4 star in Nashville. The prices are modest as the atmosphere.

Live music after 8:30 or 9 and sometimes its really good. Cover charged is assessed regardless of whether you have dinner or not.?

The crowd is cordial and has several regulars. A great place for a little change or catching a few tunes.    [30 May 2005 17:06:43]

Great Place!!!
Wow! My wife and I were in this place for the first time on Friday night, we were so impressed we came back on Sat. night. Great food wonderful service (thanks Brenda) and two great bands. I think we will be regulars here! Oh very inexpensive food and very strong drinks.    [11 May 2008 22:30:36]
