A Delight
Alley Cats is absolutely my favorite restaurant. The service is quick. The food is unique and delicious. The prices are great, and the people are friendly.

However, the most amazing thing is the atmosphere. The decorations are just outstanding. They are creative, drawn with care, have bold colors (yet do not distract you.) It never feels stuffy. The tables and chairs make you feel classy, even when you are drinking from a stiraphome cup. The food prepared is very eye appealing.

Everything about Alley Cats is that you can take anyone and everyone there. You can go for a date, an outing with a friend, or have a party.

I guess the best way to describe Alley Cats is it is place I would go for lunch if I could plan the perfect day.

Great food & staff, but slow
Alley Cats has great food and friendly people working there. The only complaint I have is that they are slow on take-out lunch orders. I have to bring in food for noon meetings on a regular basis and every time I go to Alley Cats I'm always at least 15 minutes late. Alley Cats Has Great Sandwiches.
Alley Cats is a great place to eat lunch! They are always crowded between noon and 1PM during the week, but they generally are pretty fast about getting the orders out. I have eaten there many times when I have a hankering for a good sandwich ... their pretzel sub is my favorite!    [11 Jan 2008 19:16:24]

One of Abilene's Downtown treasures
First I would like to say the atmospere is wonderful. You can tell the workmanship to keep this old historical building open and operating was well thought out. They have such a neat variety of foods available it is hard to choose a favorite. I love their fish tacos, and the Ceasar wrap. But if I was going to recommend one thing....hmmm...it would be dessert. The chef is the best. Everything is homemade, something you don't find much anymore.
