One of my favorites. Not exactly Tex-Mex which is a welcome change here in Texas. Chile Rellenos are mediocre but never had anything bad there. Get a grilled dish and you won't be sorry.    [21 Feb 2003 13:23:08]

Trip to Texas means visit to Abuelos
From the chips and guacamole to the enchiladas the food was great, service impeccable. However, my personal favorite was the papas. Yes, the potatoes. You don't think of potatoes as being a big thing in a Mexican restaurant, but they alone are worth the trip. When you add the rest fo the food and ambience you can't beat Abuelos.
