We have never a bad meal here except for Saturday 1/17 night.We had talked very highly about this restaurant and took some friends that we had taken to Rockport.
Out of 6 meals, only one was good and that was fried seafood. I have always ordered the crab cakes as they were excellent, not anymore.
Not the same recipe and they were overdone and dry.
Mesquite grilled flounder was so dry, it was tough. Baked potato not done. Lump crab meat dish was also too dry.
Angel hair pasta w/shrimp & crab - the pasta was so overdone, you stuck your fork in it to pick up a bite and the whole mound of pasta came up. Only the asparagus was done well.

Service was good.

For the amount of money we spent, we were very embarrassed that we had talked so highly.

Don't think we will be back which is a shame as we always took our freshly caught fish to have it mesquite grilled.    [18 Jan 2004 17:20:28]
