Not Very Good
The food is not authentic Mexican and a bit on the expensive side. I would not go back again.    [05 Nov 2004 19:09:18]

GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS
I have eaten here with my family many times and love the food, I had drinks (about 50 plus Margarita's to be had)All of them are great!
Live Music sometimes on the patio. Very casual atmosphere, staff is very friendly. I call it The Hole in The Wall but the name actually mean's The Ditch. This is Tex-Mex    [03 Jun 2005 17:54:18]

TEX-MEX CASUAL AND GOOD
Been here a number of times and always had great food. Wait staff is friendly and the attitude is very casual. Used outdoor area for group party and it was really fun. Was there once when tornadoes were in the area and a bunch of folks went to the roof to watch one go by a few miles away. Crazy! But suits the environment!    [10 Dec 2005 14:06:13]

Really good, easy-going place
We go to El-Arroyo quite a bit and we always enjoy it. The kids like the little game room, and we like the easy going atmosphere and the good food.    [15 Dec 2006 17:06:52]

Something has changed!
My family has frequented El Arroyo several times a month for the last couple of years and we have always loved it. However, the last couple of times have been really terrible. Ever since the new management came in the whole atmosphere has changed- the service is bad, the dining room is dirty, and the overall friendliness seems lessened. It was much better when the tiny female manager was in charge (I guess she had her baby?). We won't be back though.    [05 Oct 2007 02:10:41]

The place SUNK!
The place was awesome, with festive pictures, and waiters that became your freind after awhile. The food is awesome, and it still is. But why Isnt it awesome now?

Ok, first of all, the panitings on the side of the wall changed. The pics always had little peppers on hammoks and so on. But they painted over it! Now it's plain yellow! Besides, the whole place is now a dirty pigsty. It takes 30 minutes fo you to even get your drink now!

Ever sence it's grand-re-opening, it's been terrible. Where do I go for a favorite restaurant now?

I'm never going there again. Although it use to be awesome.    [03 Feb 2008 22:14:13]

What a Jerk!
My friends and I have been frequenting this place for years, but we will never be back. We were there with our children and not only witnessed the short bald manager screaming at his staff, but were forced to listen to his barrage of obscenities. Then, to top it off we watched him scream "get out of my ____ restaurant" repeatedly at the top of his lungs to customers while chasing them outside. All in the dining room, in front of people.    [03 Mar 2008 07:24:39]
