Pretty good food

Beautiful Dining Atmosphere!
Food I have tried nearly every special here since 2000, and I have not been dissatisfied? The flavor has always been excellent, as was the texture and presentation. It has always arrived hot from the kitchen and fresh as if the food were home made. Never too spicy or not spicy enough, although there are a few unusual or interesting dishes on the menu that I haven't yet tried. The portions are always big enough to satisfy a hungry cowboy or cowgirl.

Service My waiter has always been helpful and able to answer questions about the menu. He or she is always prepared to make good recommendations, and the plates have been cleared away quickly to provide room for conversation after eating. Glasses of water are refilled quickly, and I never have had trouble attracting the waiter's attention. If something ever went wrong with my meal, I am sure they would handle it appropriately. The bill always arrives on time, and I never feel rushed?

Ambiance The restaurant is clean, and it has a distinctive western style fitting with Bandera's cowboy capitol tradition. All kinds of patrons frequent the place, and the music is never too loud. There was no noise from the kitchen, and the bathrooms are always clean.

Other Billy Gene's compares well to other similar restaurants like Maggie's or Fuddruckers. I feel I always got a good deal for the price, and I would recommend it to a friend as good for any special occasion such as a birthday party or romantic dinner since it is a good place to go with a group. Although I am nohow connected with the restaurant, I would recommend making reservations today!    [14 Aug 2005 09:21:14]
