Good Beef
I've made the drive from San Antonio to eat at the OST a number of times and have always enjoyed the food. They have excellent chicken fried steaks. I've been impressed by their good beef whether in a chicken fried steak, hamburger or hamburger steak. Good service too.    [01 Jun 2003 11:51:30]

Gotta' loooove this place!!!
While visiting relatives in San Antonio (from PA), i took the short drive to Bandera, as directed by a friend from PA who had been there many times in his travels, to see Arky Blues Silver Dollar Saloon. Upon seeing Bandera, I made up my mind that this is where i would call home soon. I wandered into the OST and can tell you it floored me. The Arky Special is where it's at!
I strolled into town one night and my buddy Simpy took me to Arky's for a ice cold Lone Star. After soaking in the fine flavor we headed across the street to the one and only OST. Great atmosphere, even better juke box, only topped by the people and service. However the finest thing in the joint is the one and only Arky Special! Two enchilladas, rice and beans, carne sauce, loads of Jalapeno's and TWO sunny side up eggs! After downing this lite fare that any veggie would love, I suggest heading back over to Arky's for another cold Lone Star. If you're lucky you will even get to meet the man himself.
