Good food, great prices We've eaten at Baytown Seafood often - I usually choose the blackened red snapper, my husband usually opts for 'nine and nine' - deep fried shrimp and oysters. Neither of us have been disappointed.
Positives - this location offers quick service, generous servings, and good (not gourmet) food. Except for their dirty rice, which just should NOT have ham imho. Vegetable side dishes are tasty. Very good prices.
Negatives - Seating is more diner style than restaurant - very brighly lit (Not for romantic dining). Servers are generally very young, and not overly experienced. No free side dish substitutions on meals, [30 Aug 2006 17:58:59]

Baytown Seafood Original West Main in Baytown Food entrees are very good and are a great value. Salads and salad dressings, fries are mediocre at best, however the grilled vegetables are very good, slightly over cooked. Young wait staff that are nice but usually inexperienced. My wife loves their fried shrimp and fish.
Atmosphere is garish....they spend their $ on fresh seafood which is ok with me. Great Value.
I prefer the location in old Baytown on West Main. [07 Jan 2007 19:50:20]
