Give it a rest
This place died 35 years ago. It is the ghosts of Big Spring past who wait on you here and they make you wait. There are a couple waitress' who have hung on but their kitchen help changes on a daily basis and that is not a good sign and the food generally sucks big time. Denny's --- Time to close it down!
I'm from Big Spring and when I return to visit the family, I often end up at Denny's with friends late at night when the other eating joints are closed. Tonight, I called ahead to place a take out order and was told that they were not accepting to-go orders. I asked why and was told they were super busy and that she was "tired". Well, since nothing else was open, I headed down to Denny's to find that there were 2 parties seated and both waitresses around one group of guys. As I walked in, one waitress walked toward me and I informed her that I needed a take out order. She knew it was me! She told me that they were not doing those, but that she would make an exception.

These lazy people are driving so much business away. I watched as they made my food to avoid any tampering. The food was NOT that good either.

I do not see how these people keep the place from closing down like most of the town.    [26 Dec 2007 01:37:00]
