The Daily Grind has become well-known in town for their free WiFi hotspot. The "Grind" serves sandwiches, etc. during lunch hours. They have recently expanded the dining room and added evening hours, with a full menu and a wine bar.

Blows away Starbucks
Like Starbucks, you can get a generous cup of joe (plain or fancy), and free WiFi Internet access. Unlike Starbucks, Daily Grind has a full lunch menu and now serves tapas at night and features a wine bar. This is THE hot spot in downtown Boerne. They sometimes have live jazz or acoustic music. Worth it!
This little place is busy but manages to seat almost all clientele. The food is good and simple. You can eat light with soup or a sandwich, or enjoy a meal. Their range of coffee is spectacular. Spot on for a lunch break, or a dinner for two.    [27 Apr 2007 10:52:31]

The Best Little Bistro.
The Boerne Grill (though I'm disappointed it's not called the Daily Grind anymore, that was such a better name!) is an awesome little bistro. Right in the heart of Boerne, it serves everything, and it's all delicious! The diner's rustic charm adds to the comfort of the diner's customers. They serve rich coffees for the cold, and ice cold shakes when it's hot! I love the Boerne Grill!!!!    [08 Oct 2008 09:35:11]
