Thai food in Boerne
Cute little place opposite of Walmart in Boerne. Nice decors and atmosphere, I enjoyed every visits to Sarika's Thai Cafe.

The only downside is that it does not taste like Thai food. Considering the location and the Boerne's population, American-Thai food is perfectly fine.

Pad Thai was pretty good, but the garlic pork on the other hand tasted like boiled strips of pork with light soy sauce / fish sauce and deep fried garlic on top. Not exactly something that I would expect from Thai food.

Overall, if you live in Boerne and you like something other than a burger or a pizza, Sarika's Thai Cafe will spice up your day.    [27 Mar 2007 13:06:49]

Restaurant serving only themselves
Would like to give a review on the food but unfortunatly I cannot. They were supposed to open at 5 p.m. My friend and I were waiting outside in the cold since a few minutes after 5. Finally I decided to call them and ask why they were not opening the door ( I could see them inside) the first time they picked up and then promtly hung up. I dialed again and girl who answered said that they were busy eating dinner and wouldnt probably be open for another 15 mins!! (appox 5:30). Upon hearing that we left. Sorry but they will not be getting my business. I have enjoyed the food at their sister restaurant in San Antonio and was looking forward to dinner there. Great Food
I have eaten at Sarikas several times and have been pleased with the pad thai with chicken. My husband got sweet and sour chicken and thought it was ok but not great. The place is very clean    [22 Jul 2008 12:09:01]
