Bad Food/Service
We have gone to this Applebee's several times because we have eaten at other Applebee's while traveling and really enjoyed it. We have since driven over to Brenham from our home just to eat at Applebee's. However, this Applebee's is definitely a "No Go". Every experience (5 total) has been awful. I won't even go into our previous visits - just our visit yesterday (Aug. 8,2003). We ordered the BBQ Rib dinner. The fries were good, the coleslaw marginal, the baked beans were nothing more than pork and beans out of the can and ribs were RANCID, dried out and tough. I took only a bite or two and refused to eat any more. The waitress asked if I wanted to look at the menu again. Since this was visit #5, I decided. . . . NOT. My husband ate more of the ribs than I did. We both became ill from it. He was worse, I think because he ate more. One thing that surprised me was that at no time during the hour and a half that we were dining there, did the manager come out to apologize or question us. Any decent restaurant would have done that. In addition to the food being less than desireable, every time we have gone there the service was marginal, at best. One thing for sure, we won't be going back, 5 times to give benefit of the doubt is more than enough.! One big question I have is this - Is this restaurant an isolated situation or are all Applebee's going down hill?    [09 Aug 2003 18:14:01]

GREAT SERVICE
I LOVE APPLEBEE'S. WHENEVER MY FRIEND AND I WANT TO GO OUT TO EAT, WE ALWAYS GO TO APPLEBEE'S. THE SERVICE IS GREAT AND THE FOOD IS ABSOULUTLY INCREDIBLE. I THINK ANTANACIO PEREZ (NACHO) SHOULD BE GIVEN A RAISE. HE DOES A GREAT JOB IN THE KITCHEN.    [29 Mar 2004 00:35:24]

Good Food, Dirty Restaurant
The food is always good, but the restaurant is always dirty. Food on the floor, food in the booths, menus dirty, and service terrible. I ordered a milk shake it tasted good, but it was overflowing and got all over my hands when the waiter handed it to me. They didn't even offer to cleanup the mess.    [16 Feb 2008 21:12:51]
