Fair steak I enjoyed the atmosphere, but the steak was not as good as I had expected. Small portions. Strawberry shortcake was really good. Try the Rib-eye somewhere else. Too much play on the commercial side. [10 Jun 2003 21:56:48]

Worth Driving From Abilene This is one of my two favorite restaurant in the Abilene area, the other being the Beehive in Albany. The ribeye and the prime rib are the best. They are also quite large if you order the right size. The green chile hominy is the best side dish in my opinion, but not many people like hominy. Stay away from thr Jalapeno cheesecake! If the weather is nice, request a table outside. [16 Jan 2006 15:48:15]

Fast Food! Six adults arrived at 6:30 PM for dinner. We ordered and enjoyed drinks, appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts totaling $240.00. We were not loud, had a total of four alcoholic beverages, and were "good customers" surrounded by livier tables, many with small children. To our astonishment, at 8:30 PM the young hostess came to our table and basically told us our time was up at our table. Upon leaving we noticed several open tables except for the uncleared dishes. We failed to see a single person waiting to take our or any table and no cars were arriving in the parking lot.
We have no idea what they were trying to accomplish or what their goal was for our table. But they now have six adults who will never return for "fast food" at Perini's.
When we asked "Why?" as we were leaving, the only answer given was "Rules!" [01 Jul 2006 23:23:35]
