DON'T Go Such a high price for such a small amout of food!! The up front paying made it hard to leave a tip, they want you to leave a tip on your credit card before you even get any srevice. The "mexican food" was cold, the cheese on the burrito was not good. [03 Oct 2004 20:12:46]

Worth the Visit This emporium (the premier eatery in town) is impressive yet casual. Diners order upon entering, from a large menu posted on the wall, and pay for their order ahead of time. The restaurant has an upper level (by the large windows) and a floor level. Prices are fair for the large portions involved. The cooking was good and the service OK, if a bit distracted on the evening when I was there. You will not leave hungry or disappointed -- the manager will see to that. [04 Aug 2003 23:57:17]

T-Bone (not the steak)
The Best Food In Town I have family in Candadian and stay there at least a week every summer. Since Maxi's (a great place to get steaks) closed down there hasn't really been a nice restraunt. I have never had better food in all my life. It seems like it should be food that you can eat in a big city yet your in a small town that is so caring. I love the place so much! Definately worthy of a repeat visit. Best Chicken Fried Ribeye ANYWHERE. The restaurant was almost empty when we showed up there at around 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon. The waitress on duty was wrapping silverware with the owner's daughter. That kid was a doll.
Check out the player piano! [10 Jan 2005 19:37:08]

Great food While the service is hit-or-miss (sometimes great, sometimes non-existent), the food is always a winner. Skip the steaks, which are quite pricey, and go for the Mexican food or barbeque. But if you must get steak, get the "ends and pieces" option that isn't so huge and expensive. Leave room for dessert...bread pudding comes with your meal (or ask if they have any peach cobbler leftover from lunchtime). [27 Jun 2005 17:47:34]
