Description

Very relaxed, warm, and cozy. Authnenic Tex-Mex food from scratch. Also serving great hamburgers, steaks, and seafood. Childs' menu is called "Smaller Portions" thereby eleminating any age restriction in case anyone just has "the munchies."
Portions are large and prices are very reasonable:
18 lunch items for $5.95, steaks from $7.95 with trimmings. Sizzling fajitas.
Restaurant has been a Canyon Lake tradition for 41 years (built in 1964).

This is the best
Last time I was at La Casa Del Lago restaurant at Canyon Lake and man was that food good,I got the beef enchilada plate and I almost asked the magnificent owner Ray Welch if I could get another plate.The ambiance was excellent.Every season the scenery is different it is just a light show. The competitors out there don't have any similarity at all.Food wise LCDL is an 8 out of 10, and others at max are maybe a 5 out of 10.La Casa Del Lago is the best!!    [17 Dec 2006 23:41:55]
