Great food and service

cant' beat it!
Thursdays are the best day to sit down for a lovely lunch at Sweet Basil. With the standard fare of always pleasing Italian food (although I might recommend not having the lasagna; no one that I've been with seems to enjoy that), Thursdays bear something special. Their luncheon specials are always top notch, but it's their soup of the day that is the star attraction on Thursdays, causing people from all over the area who know the secret to mark Thursdays as Sweet Basil days on their calendar. Their Thursday Soup of the day is probably the best Lobster Bisque I've EVER had, and that's saying a lot, as I always try the bisque everywhere I may go, hoping that it will be up to par with Sweet Basil and I'm always disappointed.    [12 Aug 2004 12:46:52]
