Not Just Sushi
I live in the North Austin area but have visited Cedar Park twice recently. The second time I went, it was a special trip just to go to Sushi Caliente.
On our first visit, we tried the Yakisoba, Spider Roll, and Fish Tacos. The Yakisoba was good but wouldn't have given me reason to drive 25 miles for dinner but the Fish Tacos and Spider Roll knocked us off our feet and prompted our return trip.
On our second visit we could see that the restaurant was adapting to the Cedar Park palette. The new menu additions were on presentation boards on easles with large pictures of the dishes. Everything looked so yummy and it was hard to decide what to try. I settled on the fish veracruzana and highly recommend the dish. The balance of flavors was right on. We added 3 spider rolls and my eating companion ordered the fish tacos again.
I recently found out an old friend is moving to Cedar Park and will definitely be introducing them to Sushi Caliente. You should give them a try. [30 Jul 2008 09:16:34]
