ahh....memories. Menodza's is an institution in the Brazosport area. You'd never find it if you didn't know it was there, and if you did, you probably wouldn't want to eat there on spec. I visit it every time I go home for a visit and get the BEST breakfast burritos I've ever had. Huge, stuffed with whatever you want, and still cheap. We used to skip school to go there! If I wasn't afraid of calories...I could eat this everyday! I also remember skipping class to go to Mendoza's for breakfast. I even had a couple teachers who would let us call in orders and leave class to pick it up. Everytime I visit my parents I have to have it. However, they use lard to cook everything and it is a HOLE IN THE WALL...low ceilings, uneven floors. It's real Mexican food. Gotta love it. [21 Jan 2007 00:58:41]

Good luck finding it Memories of highschool, well, skipping highschool anyway. This place makes me feel like I am part of the secret breakfast burrito society - you will not find it without a guide. When I take people there, I like to hide my tracks by taking all the backroads, like Kyle and that one that goes by Brighton near B-wood.
Not for weak stomachs, but definitely for empty ones. (Don't expect the waitress to have a white cloth draped over her arm, or anywhere else for that matter.) And did I mention cheap as all get out (well, the burritos anyway, but the platters ain't so cheap). Beg one of your Brazosport friends for the breakfast experience that could only come from a little shack by the creek. [06 Aug 2007 10:53:27]
