As I rememer it??? Wow! An old name @ a new location. This place and U-Totem convenience store kept me alive during the dark days of my Aggie-land stay. Things got brighter when I got in-state tuition and a PT job to boot. But I still kept going to the Cow Hop. In 1982 the price was $1.35 including an iced-down coke and steak fries. Cheeze was extra. The proprietor (and founder) had allegedly attended the school of hotel/rest. managment @ Cornell U - BTW. Please note my reviews would be all OUTSTANDING -- for low price and availability (they had LONNGGG hours)... PS> Lots of students worked there; there were some cuties, too. [03 Jun 2003 16:54:25]

So memorable that I wrote a term paper on it!!! In 1984 I first went to the Cow Hop and fell in love. The food was great, inexpensive and the people were lots of fun! It was not uncommon to be told "hey Sheila...get your butt over here and pick up your grub" and many more memorable lines. I love their food and fun. I chose to write a term paper on the restaurant and the fun I had there. Got an "A" and I give them an "A" as well. [29 Jul 2007 00:35:15]
