We are never eating at this Lone Star again because... We got in about 3:30, sat down, and got our drinks. At this time we were the only people at Lone Star. We ordered and had to wait about 45 min. thats not why we are mad... some other people came in after us about 10-15 min. after we got in and they ordered a pizza and breadsticks and got them before us. Then some other people came in and got some pasta before us we were the last ones to get our orders so we left. This has happened for the second and last time.
No Thanks just pissed. Chris, Nick, Annette Washington [03 Jan 2004 18:19:50]

At first I thought this was just another pizza joint, I mean there are about 4 out here, but when I went in and tried what they had i was amazed. I live in the Garland Tx. but i routinely make special trips out just to eat at Lone Star. I especially love the fact that students at the local college get a discount. That help a bunch. It isn't just the pizza the baked potatoes are huge and though I haven't tried any of the other dishes on the menu they look and smell great. I just want to know when there will be a chain in Garland, Richardson, Plano, etc. that is closer to me when i am not in class. [09 Jun 2004 21:53:57]

Lone Star is awesome! I ate at Lone Star all the time while a student at A&M-Commerce.
Now 7 years removed from graduation, we still routinely go out to Commerce from Dallas to eat at Lone Star Pizza.
It is REALLY fun eating there on gameday before a football game (if you arent tailgating). It is directly across the street from Memorial Stadium, and you can see the teams warming up as you eat.
Really cool place...family/kid friendly! [10 Jul 2007 17:50:11]
