The food was great especially the mashed potatoes. I was very impressed with the prompt service. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a wider selection on the food and the other little toppings, but other than that I loved the experience and plan on returning in the future. Employees turns customers off!!!! Nov. 15, 2003
I just came back from the Chicken Express in Crowley. The service I received was some of the worse I have had in a long time. I have lived in Crowley over 20 years and this was my 3rd visit to Chicken Express. The first two visits were O.K but not enough to complain about.
On my visit tonight I pulled to the speaker in the back. The sign on it states " Our speaker works, but we would rather come out and take your order personally" I heard the speaker activate as I pulled across the cable, I waited about 5 mins with no response from the speaker and no one showed up in person. I backed over the cable again and heard it activate still no response and no person came out. After another 5 mins of waiting, I pulled around to the pickup window. There was one car ahead of me. After a couple of mins. A female came out and ask if I had been waited on? I gave her my order and she went back inside. The car ahead of me left and I pulled to the pickup window. I noticed as I was waiting the employees would walk over to the wall by the window and flip something as if they were turning something off. After that about 2 mins later a car would come from behind the building drive by me and leave. After watching this active I realized they were walking over there and turning the speaker off and not taking orders. I had waited at the window about 10 to 12 mins when a young man came and opened the window and ask if I had been helped, I said "Yes" and ask if it always took so long to get an order, He mumbled something about the Tenders had just came up. (This is what I had ordered) I ask if this was a franchised owned or private owned place. His response was 'I don't know' shut the window and walked away. After another 5 mins. a female came toward the window rang something on the cash register and open the window to give me a total. I ask her does it always take this long (I had been there at least 25 mins.)to get an order? She just glared at me with nothing to say, I told her that I could see them turning off the speaker and letting customers drive away. She had no response and closed the window.
At least when I go to Churches Chicken they will tell me if that it will take longer and offer me a drink while I wait.
These kids didn't seem to care if we were waited on or not, but maybe Chicken Express in Crowley, TX doesn't need our business. [15 Nov 2003 20:31:32]

Jana: bad manners Hi. I've seen this woman sneeze on my box twice! I'm a jailer at Tarrant County and I swear her name was Jana K. [30 Jan 2004 19:12:56]

You gotta cook this stuff! After visiting the Arlington store weekly for the past 12 years, I have decided not to return. On the past two visits we found our chicken tenders to be seriously undercooked (to the point that we couldn't eat them). I don't know if this is a new policy to make them more juicy or what...but it is definitely not an improvement. Like my old daddy used to say, "It wasn't broke, so why in the world did you fix it?" Loved it! I went to the one in Wake Village, TX that had just opened and found it to be delicious. The chicken livers were cooked perfectly and served with gravy and a biscuit. The hot wings were absolutely scrumptious. I don't know how it could have been any better. The restrooms were also very nice and very clean. [26 Oct 2005 19:57:57]
