Nothing fancy, just good food. La Plazita has been our families Friday night dining tradition for over ten years. Just off of the main drag in Cuero, La Plazita offers you the best mexican food, especially the refried beans, in Cuero. Don't let the building fool you, it's nothing fancy, just good food. Good food, but a little slow I've been going to La Plazita's since I was about 12 years old. In that time, the only problem I have ever had with the restaurant is speed, especially when the restaurant gets busy. But in some cases, the wait is well worth it. It is also very affordable. Though normally at the lower end of the spectrum in Cuero's three Mexican restaurants, La Plazita is a lot better than some Mexican restaurants that I've eaten at in nearby cities. If you have the time, I would highly recommend stopping by the place. And like the last review said, don't be fooled by the outside appearance. [21 Oct 2004 14:06:08]
