Try the Tortilla Soup, its wonderful!
Armondos is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in Wise county. The service and the food is wonderful. I often go there just for there tortilla soup. It is the best I have ever tried its absolutely delicious!    [17 Mar 2003 17:03:46]

ARMONDOS DONT EAT THERE !
I have been visiting Armondos for years. The food was usually ok. This is the Decatur branch I'm referring to. Lately the past oh, about six months their food has gotten worse. Tonight my wife and I ate there for the very last time. Her potato was terrible, my food was not much better, they got the order wrong. My wife had been having a bad day so when the order was screwed up and the food was lousy it was the icing on the cake. The waitress came by and said "Is everything ok? " My wife replied " No everything with this is not ok and please just don't bother me" Well we go to check out and the co- owner Terry says "Are you the one who said to my waitress Get the F... out of my face?" We were both shocked and my wife walked out while I paid the tab which Terry did cut in half. Needless to say if that is how they treat paying customers I don't think anyone should eat there. Great Place to Eat!!!!
I never knew about Armondos until my boyfriend told me it was his favorite place to eat. SO we went ther one Friday night at 6:00pm and didn't have to wait 5 minutes
before we were seated. We ordered our food and the next thing weknew it was already on the table, not to mention it tasted great! They have very nice employees and I wish there were more places like Armondos to eat!!!

Consistently Good Food
You can depend on friendly service and consistently good food. Lunchtime is usually quick in and out. Our family has been dining there since it opened. Also an important note I'd like to add - is the restaruant is very child friendly!    [14 Jun 2006 14:02:14]
