Tradition Chico's is still the first stop we make when we go back home (we're in Ft. Worth). People in El Paso are spoiled; they have the best Mexican food, and they have Chico's Tacos which most people there take for granted. Just move away for about six months and you will crave those tacos also. Give Chico's their due and I'll take a double order! [24 Jan 2003 09:30:35]

The Shiznitt Fantastic service, great music selection, and those tacos (damn). I drive sixty miles every weekend just for "Chico's". [20 Feb 2003 04:08:36]

Hoosier's Wishful Thinking My mother was raised in El Paso, moved to Indiana. Took us to Chico's everytime we went to Grandmas. I am now 32 and take my kids when we go to Great-Grandmas. I sometimes think I smell Chico's tacos here in Indiana! Just wishful thinking. [23 Apr 2003 23:32:24]

Mouth Watering Is All I Can Say! I was born and raised in El Paso, and as a child I always remember going to Chico's. Now that I'm over here in Ft. Worth I hate the fact that I cant even try to figure out what or how they make those things. I love them that my mouth just waters thinking about them. I really wish I knew the recipe or at least something similar to it. So that I can try to make them its the next best thing to it. I've been over here for almost 10 years and only been to El Paso like 3 times. Please somebody help me. If you happen to know anything about Chico's email me, OK? It would be greatly appreciated. Chico's Rules The tacos are hot...the chile is green...the floors are filthy, but who cares? The Chicos are worth the dirty restaurant. Just eat it to go. You'll thank yourself if you have to use the bathroom! [02 May 2003 17:32:37]

Been There, Done That Having been stationed all over the continental U.S., one of the first places I hit when in El Paso is Chico's. They are the White Castle, the Krispy Kreme of El Paso. [11 May 2003 05:45:03]

High School Memories It's been more than 20 years since I went to high school in El Paso. One memory that doesn't escape me is eating the best tacos I've ever had in my life at Chico's. I live in Germany now and would exchange a schnitzel for one of Chico's tacos anytime! Would love to open a new location here. [03 Jun 2003 03:21:55]

I love Chico's Tacos; it is the best place to eat in El Paso. Every one of you that says it is mediocre at best obviously have not been there. Of course it comes with a bad rep that it is dirty and all the years I have gone I have never found anything wrong with my food. Chico's is an El Paso tradition and is a truly unique restaurant that every patron should be proud of. [03 Jun 2003 08:51:46]

Chicos - An El Paso tradition Chico's won't win any awards for most glamorous place to eat, but if you want some tremendously tasty local food at chump change prices this is it.
Enjoy the rolled tacos, hot dogs, and beef burritos.
There's absolutely no place like Chico's. [03 Jun 2003 14:58:31]

Just Plain Good Not fancy, not exotic, just plain good. Where else can you feed a family of 4 and get change back. I first discovered Chico's when I was stationed at Ft. Bliss during the 1980's. Next best "crudo" cure to menudo. [03 Jun 2003 21:19:22]
