BBQ Rubs We picked up some of your Dry Rubs last year on vacation from the Seattle area and it is great- plus easy to use. [13 Jul 2001 13:15:48]

It gets no better than this. Avoid the huge stuffed bear in the entryway and prepare yourself for the best barbecue you've ever tasted. I have seen grown men shed tears of joy over Angelo's barbecue. Even if you order the cheapie chopped beef sandwich (get it on rye bread), you'll find it's simply wonderful. I try to visit Angelo's every time I come within 50 miles of Fort Worth. Pure Fort Worth Angleo George graduated from North Side High School in 1938. After WWII he started cookin' BBQ and serving it in a one room place on White Settlement Road. Now it's a huge complex serving some really great food. You'll love it. [26 Jul 2002 07:06:50]

Wonderful I prefer Angelo's BBQ over any other BBQ place. You will not find a flavor like this anywhere else. VERY fast service; even better food. Their potato salad is the only one I'll eat. I love it. [14 May 2003 11:51:45]

Angelo's BBQ I am 14 and I have been going to Angelo's since I was a little boy, My grandfather has been going there ever since it opened. Angelo's has terrific BBQ, and a very friendly atmosphere. If you are in the mood for great BBQ, and a fun time then head on over to Angelo's and they will treat you like family. Angelo's is a great atmosphere for the whole family; most people there have been going there since they were little, and they keep comming back. Enjoy! [21 Apr 2004 21:59:52]

Don't Crowd It up - Save Room for Me - 4 Star Hey it's just the best. Hey go elsewhere so there is more room for me to savor this great place... Oh how we miss: Old Swiss House, Mac's House, Southern Kitchen's, Little Bit of Sweden, Back Porch, Youngblood's, Chicken Shack in Waco... [27 Mar 2007 02:36:33]

ROADRUNNER
Decent Food, but Not the Best. I will preface this review by saying that I'm something of a BBQ snob (if there is such a thing). While Angelo's will fit the bill if you're suffering from a serious brisket craving, it certainly isn't the best. At one time it was fantastic, and the beer was literally ice cold... but now? It has gone seriously downhill since Angelo passed away. Now the BBQ is passable, and while the beer is still icy cold, Angelo's is more of a tourist trap than anything else. Prices are reasonable and atmosphere is about what you'd expect for a BBQ place. [28 Dec 2007 15:24:07]
