Poor Tex-Mex
This place is always crowded. The service is prompt. The place is clean. The management is marvelous. But, the food is not classic Tex-Mex. They just plain use the wrong ingredients (like flour tortillas for the flautas). So, get their fajitas.    [28 Dec 2001 17:04:45]

Superb
Don't live in Fredericksburg, but been there numberous times. Can't wait to get back in town and go to Mamacita's. I highly recommend their Quesadillas, especially the chicken variety. The have two salsas: red and green. Why eat anywhere else?    [18 Jul 2004 19:13:38]

Glad It's Classic Mexican And Not Tex-Mex
This is a great place for good mexican food. The flour tortillas are mad fresh all day and you can even watch them being made. The staff works together so well that it's like watching a well oiled machine. The management is incredible...they are always on top of everything. The keep the restaurant spotless and our food is always out within 15-20 minutes whether we come in for a night out with just my husband and I or we bring the entire family. And another thing that is nice is that each meal comes with free unlimited homemade tortillas (flour or corn.    [31 Mar 2005 20:12:27]
