Best in Freeport... ...But that doesn't take much! Pretty good food, good selection, nice atmosphere, service is good when slow but not so good when busy (and this place gets pretty darn busy, especially at lunch), owner is hands-on and interacts frequently with customers, parking is better now that the new lot is finished. Best Gulf Coast Seafood! Hands down the best Gulf Coast seafood this side of Galveston. Service is friendly, but the place does get packed on the weekends. [13 Feb 2003 08:06:49]

It's all good!!!!! The service is great- homely environment- great managers with cooks and a wait staff that knows what they're doing! Best corn bread and coleslaw around. [21 Sep 2003 00:56:54]

A Special Treat The restaurant is built to look old and antique. It looks really great! The food is outstanding but service gets a little slow when the place is packed on the weekends and for weekday lunches. The have the best cornbread in the county. [21 May 2004 10:06:05]
