Great food This is an excellent place to go . We go every year when we are in Galveston. It's a little hard to find the first time you go, but believe me it's worth finding. [05 May 2001 11:38:02]

Ditto I second the other review on this page. Sometimes they have a problem with serving greasy food, but it's nothing a napkin can't handle. If you don't want to get your hands greasy, any one of the workers will gladly help you (I have never had a problem, but the fiance...who is more delicate than me...had a problem only ONE TIME). I used to eat here ALL THE TIME when I was in high school (Ball High right around the corner). It IS secluded, but a good find for those that want good food "off the beaten path" [02 Apr 2004 17:05:27]

Food was okay but not near as good as advertised in the Houston Chronicle. Seafood that I had was similar to food at a Dairy Queen. Will not go back [28 Nov 2005 18:55:58]

Worth the drive Another one of our favorite places in Galveston. Plenty of good food for the price. If you want atmosphere, go some where else. [09 Jan 2007 13:39:40]
Food: Service: Ambiance: Overall: Recommended Dishes: Fried shrimp basket or Po-Boys.
