A day at Luna The few time's I've gone to Luna the Hostess, totally ignored me. I had to ask when I was next a few times. My boss loves it and raves about it. But I still had a few problems with it. The food wasn't the greatest. I'll still go there only because my boss likes it. I think I'll give it two **. [03 May 2001 12:09:29]

Luna To Go I've never actually been to Luna de Noche, but it's near my husband's work so he picks up dinner for us all the time. The food is great, reheats well, and comes in good sturdy containers that don't pop open when you touch them. [09 Feb 2002 09:22:29]

Luna is one of my favorite places to eat in the Metroplex! The salsa is tasty (not too spicy, but with just enough kick). The queso is fabulous and their chicken dishes are so yummy and tender! I've never had a bad meal from there! Service is impeccable. The waitstaff is attentive without being in your face or pushy. [28 Aug 2002 13:11:00]

Best Mex in town! Long wait but that just shows how great they are. Don't take reservations unless you have 15+ people in your party. Service is great, very attentive. Never had a bad experience. Everything I've ever had there, has been great. [21 Sep 2002 20:16:40]

My wife and I go to Luna De Noche every Friday night. A great Restaurant, Nice atmosphere, and extremely good food, but all this is ruined by some details management needs to take into account. The female hostess at the front door is extremely unfriendly and rude, (never has a welcome, or hello). Hostess is going to seat you where she wants you or else! Food is wonderful without exception. However, the good food is ruined by restaurant personel constantly rushing patrons throught the meal. Multiple personel trying repeatedly to grab your plate before you are ready. When they finally do take your plate, they immediately grab the chips & hot sauce so you will not linger, "Don't Mess With Texans Chips & Hot Sauce". The message from the front door and throught the meal, is "HURRY UP AND MOVE ON" we have many other people to rush when you leave. This is all very carefully orchestrated and is obviously at the managements urging. Please let the management know that this ruins a very good meal. We go out on Friday Night to relax over good Mexican Food and a Drink. Don't rush us! And Don't take the chips & hot sauce without asking. The hostess at the front door does not know how to receive people with a true Mexican welcome. The exception with service and friendliness at this restaurant is a waiter named "Israel", he knows true Mexican Hospitality. We love this restaurant and especially "Israel", but are always tempted to not return because of the rude hostess and the constant rushing of patrons to finish quick and get out. Linda Galvan, the owner, needs to rethink the hospitality angle at this very good restaurant and make some changes. A good start would be the hostess. Second, get rid of all the people roaming around with head-sets to see who they can rush next. [08 Feb 2003 18:14:13]

Three Cheers For Luna I consider myself very picky when it comes to Mexican food because it is my favorite food. I came here for the first time and was slightly skeptical when it came to the food. Especially that green salsa. Minutes later, though, this became my favorite restaurant. The staff is wonderful, the food is great, and of course the Qeuso and Flan (the most important part of a meal there) are in a league of there own! [24 Feb 2003 22:55:34]

Great Mexican Food!! My husband and I enjoy the music, the service, and especially the food. We have enjoyed the Tortilla Soup, Avacado Soup, Pollo Poblano, and Shrimp Enchiladas. The female waiters are constantly referring to us as "Amigos". We like that. For desert, we always have the Flan. They perpare it fresh everyday. I can tell it is not out of a box. So Rich. You will get your Mexican Fix at Luna de Noche. We enjoy all 3 locations.(Plano-190 & Preston,Richardson-Lookout & Jupiter, Dallas- Forest Ln. & 75). [30 Aug 2003 13:04:51]

A Star in the Night sky Excellent food. Very good waitstaff. I was not and did not feel rushed. The waitstaff was very attentive and listen carefully and got everything right the first time. Waiter had time to make menu suggestions and it WAS Friday night. I hope they keep the quality consistent. [01 Oct 2003 15:37:03]

I AM NACHOS I live near the one at Preston in Plano but for some reason have never had the desire to go there. My wife finally convinced me to go. When it comes to Mexican food I love it all but truly like Nachos. I have had Nachos almost everywhere and considered myself an expert. Well Luna has made a perfect Nacho with their shredded beef and bean nachos. The service and attention are exceptional. Actually went to the manager and said Luna has made my top 5 restuarants. Now I will put them to the test and get nachos to go. [30 Dec 2003 17:15:13]

Consistently terrific We visit all locations often--the food is excellent and well-priced, the menu accommodates the afficionado as well as the people who are there--well, just because. The children's menu is especially wonderful, with items for the adventurous child as well as the one who's got a less tutored palate. [02 Jan 2004 13:40:27]
