When Hot Links were a quarter for 6, and we paid for them by working at Shory Howard's sweet potato warehouse, across the street from Pilgrim's feed store, where they sold baby chicks. I remember a certain Chevy SS you bought by working at the Coca-Cola plant loading trucks late at night with a bunch of other of us reprobates when you lived across the street from us on North Avenue in thee old Thomas house.
