Granbury's Best Fajitas Don Ayala's Restaurant and Cantina has an extensive list of Mexican dishes, including House Specialties.
Located near Lake Granbury's DeCordova Bend Dam, the atmosphere is casual and family-friendly. [16 Jun 2000 02:01:42]

Good food, bad service The food is very good, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Most of the time, once your food is served you never see your waitress until she brings your bill. [21 Feb 2005 14:21:50]

Senor Ayala branch just off the Square is awful We live in Granbury and have eaten at this restaurant numerous times. Now that there is some competition across the street (with another restaurant to open soon, and more new ones on the Square), things have gotten worse, despite adding breakfast. The Tex-Mex food is even more bland now (but being able to order a la carte is a positive). The service totally sucks! My margarita on the rocks with salt was watered down and came with sugar, not salt. We ordered the El Senor Enchilada plate and got the El Senor Dish - totally different. Worse yet, the manager blamed it on the waitress not putting the order in right, and was very defensive, only offering to bring us the correct dish (we'd already waited long enough, and it was a VERY slow Wednesday night). Needless to say, we won't be back. This is a shame because restaurants like this are not going to survive on weeknights without the local trade. I can't recommend this place to anyone, though, tourist or local. [09 May 2007 21:29:45]
