Good, local seafood. No passport required! You'll feel like you need one, though, when you pass through the wrought-iron door of this Lee Street diner. Though the majority of the patrons are Hispanic, the English menus and service are very good.
I had a fish soup & gumbo. The gumbo was very flavorful, and the soup was very spicy. The service was friendly, and the food was good. This restaurant offers from filets (catfish, I presume) to crablegs & shrimp.
Prices were not unreasonable, especially for seafood. Dinner may be more easily justifiable, though lunch specials are offered. Portions were filling. [27 Feb 2004 14:48:31]

Excellent Cocktail The best shrimp cocktail EVER!!! You can get it regular or spicy. Great flavor, lots of shrimp (baby). Hush puppies are really good too and you get 3 dipping sauces-melted butter (YUM-OH!), ketchup and tarter sauce. I hear the fish is really good too! [13 Apr 2006 17:33:56]

Real Food, Real people, Get Full for a good night's rest When you order, you get what you ordered. Unlike long John Silvers, you're not ordering a load of breaded batter with 2 inchs of fish. Like Bob Barker said on Happy Gilmore... "I don't want a piece of it, I want the whole thing!"
So go to this place if you want to get full. [01 Feb 2007 13:51:54]
