We had the chicken fried steak. It was saturated with gravy. Not a good sign.The steak obviously was not prepared in the "cafe" I think they went to the nearest grocery strore and got one out of the frozen entree section.
This is a shame because they had a banner outside about their famous chicken fried steak. My friend had the catfish. She said it was dry and lacked flavor. We should have gone across the parking lot to Taco Bell. We know what that is supposed to taste like.    [20 Jul 2003 21:41:06]

Disappointed

I had been wanting to go to this cafe for a couple of years. Finally got the chance. The waiters were wearing t-shirts bragging about their chicken fried steak. I ordered the smaller steak and found it to be very thin,more crust then meat,and more gravy then crust. It tasted like a TV dinner.
However my husband ordered the extra large premium Chicken fried steak, which indeed was a decent steak, hand battered,thick and tasty. It seems to me that they would better off making a smaller version of their premium steak as all the small one did is make me angry.    [23 Jul 2003 17:58:36]

Graduation Dinner
We had the family room for our granddaughter's graduation dinner. The service was incredible. The manager (Tammie) added her personal touch and the waitress did a great job with a large group. A variety of foods was ordered and I never heard a complaint. Thanks.    [28 May 2005 16:10:17]
