Does it get any better than this?
This is a fantastic restaurant. I grew up eating here with my parents and still try to make it a point to eat there when I'm in the area. Everything is delicious - especially the ONION RINGS! Best on the planet! Great Chicken Fried Steak and just a real friendly, cozy place. I'd recommend it to anyone.    [16 Aug 2003 16:34:17]

Awesome Steaks
My roommate and I treated ourselves to a wonderful dinner at Hermann Son's Steak House a couple of months ago. Wow we were delighted that our one night out without the kids turned out to be great! After hearing a great deal about Hermann sons, I decided to have dinner there(11/18/06). I inquire about the wait after about a hour. I was told our name had been called. I was within 10 feet of the counter. I said I didn't hear our name call. I was told "THERE IS THE DOOR-LEAVE". I was stunned! I had never been asked to leave a restaurant before. Try their Pepper Cheese Steak (hot)
It is always a priviledge to stop & eat at Hermann Son's... We stop there everytime we go through Hondo... their waitstaff, salad bar, food, portions, service and atmosphere are great!!! and on a Friday/Saturday night you can expect a line from the locals... you know it has to be good!!    [06 Mar 2008 17:16:47]
