America's My waiter was helpful. She could answer questions about the menu. She also made good recommendations. Plates were cleared quickly. Also my water was refilled quickly.I never had trouble attracting my waiter's attention. The bill arrived on time but I didn't feel rushed. This is a top of the line restaurant. A Gem in Houston A great place for entertaining. I met a blind date there, and she was most impressed with me for having class enough to go to a place like this. [25 Apr 2003 07:40:03]

Good Atmosphere Husband and I ate there in Oct 2004. The decor is worth seeing. Enjoyed the plantains. It was our anniversary and we were treated to a complimentary glass of champagne. Husband had sea bass which was quite good. I had pork with artichokes stuffed with avocado. It wasn't that great. The calamari appetizer was delicious. Overall we would recommend. Slowly Declining. When Americas first opened years ago it was perfect. While Americas is still a great place to go it is no longer excellent and has been slowly declining. Over the years the quality of employees, service and food has changed. If anyone recalls going 8 years ago, they would understand one could not compare it to the Americas we see today. Hopefully, the owners will make improvements so Americas could become what it use to be. [18 Jan 2005 14:35:12]

Foreign and Exquisite I go to America's every year for my birthday and for our anniversary. The food is incomparable, and the atmosphere is second to none. Never have you tasted steak that melts upon touch as you have here. [14 Jul 2005 17:49:00]

I Was The Client. I was taken to America's for a casual business dinner following a long delayed flight into Houston. America's atmosphere instantly allowed me to forget my travel troubles. The deco was impressive, nice wine list, and the food was top notch. My water glass was always full. [19 Aug 2005 16:05:12]
