Most Awesome Bar-B-Q ever!!!!
This is the best I have ever had! I have travelled Texas and Lousiana for over 20 years and this is by far the best ribs and beef I have ever had. The chicken is also superb in that it (unlike most Bar-B-Q)was moist and very tasty.

Very Good BBQ
McKenzie's is a very good barbecue restaurant with a good atmosphere. They have the usual cute signs, the best of which is "Life is too short to live in Houston."

I always have the sausage plate. My wife likes the sliced beef, and she always leaves one piece for me. My mother-in-law had sliced pork and liked it very much. The portions are large. One meat plates start at $7. The beans are good, but the potato salad is the best side.

The sauce is zesty and quite good. Be sure to save a slice of bread to sop the sauce after the meat is gone.    [02 Mar 2008 09:18:22]
