Danny D's used to be great
Danny D's was a great restaurant until ownership change. The portions have gotten smaller. Still has pretty good taste but food can be served cold from time to time. Also ordered a pound and half sliced brisket from drive through. Got seven slices strategically hiding hunks of cull meat usually reserved for chopped beef. It is sad. Used to be the absolute best in Tarrant county. The new guy is running it into the ground!    [10 Apr 2007 20:56:44]

The review by Chris Trail was written after I had not only spoken to him by phone, but also by email. While entitled to his view, the editor should know that Mr. Trail used this forum to vent his frustration. He was unhappy with whatever we offered him, short of equity in the restaurant.
