worst italian restaurant Don't waiste time and money going to this restaurant. They started us with microvaved ordinary bread rolls and margarine. We ordered salads and we regreted it - iceberg lettuce! For the price they charge they could have done a little better. My chicken dish was absolutely disgusting - breaded chicken something, covered with half evaporated wine sauce. It was simply inedible. My husband ordered their beef medalions with mushrooms for about $20. Service was o.k. [27 Oct 2002 13:27:51]

Good Italian Bruno's serves up good, basic Italian fare that is reminescent of home cooking. It isn't a grille or bistro with wood-burning pizza ovens. If you wan't basic Italian, it's great. Good service. [05 Jun 2003 11:45:31]

Good Food/Great Atmosphere My husband and I recently moved to the Irving area and were beginning to think there were no good restaurants around... until we stumbled onto Bruno's. After our first visit it immediately became one of our favorite dining spots. The food is quite good and we find the atmosphere delightful. It is truly a gem!!! [24 Apr 2004 15:02:42]

I'm from Jersey. You from Jersey? Where do you get clams and spaghetti? Me, I go to Bruno's. I get my calamari there too! For me, Bruno's is a little piece of home. I've never had a bad meal there and the canal view is nice. And the one time I decided to try their bone in rib eye special - it was great. Best of all, they talk Jersey to me. When they see me come in the howyoudoin's never seem to end. [09 Dec 2005 17:49:20]
