Chicken fried steak
The chicken fried steak at this restaurant was probably the best I have ever eaten anywhere. It was lightly battered, and was very tender. The white gravy was good, also, but the steak was delicious even without the gravy. Bad Experience
My family members decided to go out to eat at this restaurant on monday the 25th around 3:30..there were 10 of us and as soon as i walked in i wanted to walk right our but i did not want to hurt anyones feelings...so i stayed and the food was horriable and the corn bread was hard and the buffet table looked dirty and had food all over it.. i will never eat at this place again.. we had the worst stomach pain you can imagine...    [27 Apr 2005 12:19:32]

Best East Texas Traditional Fare Buffet
This restaurant serves a traditional southern style menu at its buffet. Specialty is Chicken Fried Steak, but other items great too: chicken and dumplings, catfish, black eyed peas, vanilla wafer pudding, biscuits, etc. Very inexpensive and all items cooked fresh. Also salad greens, tomatoes, soup etc. if you need to watch your diet, but best for traditional East Texas fare. I LOVED IT! Ambiance is plain, downhome diner next to motel.
