My husband and I really miss and yearn for decent restaurants in Katy compared to what is offered in Houston. However, we enjoyed our first several dinners at Anjou Cafe and decided to take a few friends there from out of town. Needless to say, we spent over $200 and were the last to leave on a Saturday night....not because we were ready but because we were ASKED to leave by the lady manager. It was 10:30 and she insisted that this was NOT the big city and that we couldn't "hang" out at her restaurant as it closes at 10:30!!!!! Unfortunately that was a year ago and we havent returned. I also have told MANY friends about the incident since then..too bad! The food was good enough to come back to but NOT the service!!!!!!!!!!    [01 May 2001 17:12:13]
