Dairy Queen In Kenedy
Well, I've been putting this off for no good reason, but I have finally found an outlet to do it.

This has to be the *last original* Dairy Queen in Texas. (I'll get into that shortly)

Twice a year I make a trip to Corpus Christi. On the way down, and on the way back up, I ALWAYS stop to get a burger at the Kenedy Dairy Queen. Why?

They do not pre-cook the burgers. Everything is fresh made (just like it used to be in the 70s). Literally, when your ticket is posted on the *ticket thingie* you can watch the cook retrieve a fresh patty from the cooler. Then you can hear it sizzle as it hits the grill. Just like it used to be.

When was the last time you got served a burger from a place like this, and it was in fact, steaming hot off the grill? Good Stuff!    [01 May 2007 00:33:39]
