Are You Sure This Isn't Chicago?
We left a town 62 miles northwest of Chicago for a new home 62 miles northwest of San Antonio -- and were astonished to find Chicago Style Deep-Dish Pizza every bit as good as (and possibly better than) any we ever found outside the Chicago city limits, anywhere.
Service is personal, personable, and as quick as the laws of physics and the size of the crowd allow. There's a bar open till midnight, delivery within the Kerrville area ($8 minimum) -- and the infamous "Bellybomb," a multi-topping orgy of excess available on a large (16"), thin crust for $12.95 and in Deep Dish style (15") for $14.95.
Custom orders are graciously accommodated. We ordered a Deep Dish Pizza with 2/3 pepperoni and 1/3 veggies (no hots!) and got exactly what we'd asked for, with a smile. [14 Jul 2002 14:49:01]
