Just Another McDonalds.
This is just another McDonalds. Expect the usual, but don't try to find a handicapped parking space near any door -- a feature for which many McDonalds are known and appreciated by those who need ADA-style access.

Expect, too, to be charged for tap water at the drive-thru window, even if you're spending $10 or more on a meal or two, it's 96 degrees outside, and you have a handicapped placard prominently displayed. (Lukewarm tap water inside is free, if you don't mind the tiny -- and we do mean tiny -- paper cups. If the paper industry makes smaller cups, we've never seen them.)

Don't be late for breakfast: hours posted don't necessarily apply.

There are superb McDonalds and the rare bad ones, and innumerable thousands in between. This one falls somewhere on the lower end of the vast middle. There are better fast-food choices in Kerrville.    [14 Jul 2002 16:44:08]
