YuM!
My Family and I have built a tradition in the past 4 years that gringo's has been in La Porte. Every Friday we go out to eat and each time we get the same great service and food. I totally recommend it to everyone. Oh and the frozen margaritas are absolutely wonderful.    [23 Apr 2000 22:36:01]

very tex mex
The food is ok I suppose. I went there once when they first opened and again about 3 years later. It made me remember why it took 3 years to go back.
Bad service and high prices.    [10 Sep 2001 01:13:34]

Best In LaPorte/Deer Park
For a small town eatery, Gringos delivers high quality. The food is always good, the service is usually good and the prices are fair. There is a wait most of the time, if you come for dinner. But, it is close and good food.    [21 Oct 2001 22:40:06]

Consistently Great Food
You can't go wrong eating at Gringo's. The food is always exceptional and satifying, as is the service and atmosphere. No other Tex-Mex restaurant in southeast Houston compares.    [02 Nov 2001 13:30:14]

Best Mexican Food!
Wonderful food, great atmosphere, and enthusiastic servers. Anyone who views their prices as expensive must eat Taco Cabana all the time. Prices are outrageous for the food quality!    [18 Jan 2003 19:28:00]

Highly Recommendded
My husband and I have eaten at Gringo's on many occasions and each time we are as pleased as the first time. The food is excellent, the staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. I rate Gringo's a five star.    [16 Apr 2003 14:04:46]

You Can't Beat It
Anyone who say's Gringo's is expensive needs to stick to Taco Bell. You wont find cheaper, top quality food anywhere else other than Gringo's.You can go to Pappasito's and and pay about 35 dollars for two and the food isn't any better (not even as good) and spend around 20 bucks at Gringo's. The managers and servers go out of the way to make you feel at home, and the drinks are to die for!!    [13 Aug 2003 16:50:25]
