Kind of Disappointed
Ate at Mama Chole's last year and was kind of disppointed with the service, the food quality, and worst of all, the cleanliness! It seemed to be a happening spot and was busy - even had 2 State Troopers eating there. However, the service was exceptionally slow (although apologetic), the food quality was so-so, and the restrooms were disgusting! On the way to the restrooms, you had to pass by a pile of boxes with rotting meat inside and swarms of flies next to the dumpster. Inside the restroom was something that I won't discuss, but lets say it turned my appetite. I complained to our waitress, but she claimed that they were too swamped to resolve the problem at the moment. Probably will not go back. Too bad!    [18 Mar 2004 14:02:53]

Mama Chole's Mexican Restaurant will offer the entire family a fabulous dining experience. Anytime you're served warm freshly fried corn tortilla chips and hot sauce followed by top-notch cheesy enchiladas and carne guisada wrapped in home-made flour tortillas you know you've arrived in Hill Country Tex-Mex heaven.

The prices are outstanding and the proprietor will visit your table with a smile.
