DONT GO THERE! This might be the worst restaurant I've ever eaten at. And the lady (I'm assuming it's the owner) was one of the rudest people I've ever come across. God help you if you pronounce the name of the town wrong. [25 Nov 2002 13:42:01]

Do go there! TRKC was one of the most fun places I have eaten at. The owner a.k.a the old lady was really kind to the group that I was with when I went. I love all the cool stuff you has on the walls from the $1.00 bills that people have stapeled to the walls with small words of wisdom or there names and where that are from.
The little frogs that she has are really cute. I know any one who goes there will enjoy it. [20 Mar 2003 22:42:30]

armadilla burger First time I ever went there I couldn't help noticing the menu that says armadilla burger. I was wondering is this actually a real armadilla made in this burger. I tried it and it was the most incredible hamburger I ever ate. I used to go there with my grandpa every day in the summer. [19 Apr 2003 03:04:08]

Go for the Pie ~ That's About It! Toad's Road Kill Cafe is certainly not worth a special trip. This place does not qualify as a "good ol' Hill Country Texas cafe" based upon the quality and quantity of the food offered on the menu.
Toad's one redeeming value is the "laripen" coconut and chocolate pies. [17 Mar 2005 22:11:36]

Best burgers in Texas Dispite the name Toad (owner's nickname) serves the origional homemade burgers with a smile. I havn't had a burger like this since I was a kid in small cafe's of yesteryear. A refreshing change from premade almost food of the big chains. The decor will keep you entetained. The name of the town is not pronounced leakey but lake-e [12 Oct 2005 23:55:03]
