why no egg roll?
All the other Lover's Egg Roll restaurants give me an egg roll with my order (no extra charge).    [29 May 2002 12:23:14]

I found a black thing in my rice
I just ate today at the one on Lovers Lane, and there was a piece of hard plastic like black stuff in the fried rice. I took it back. The whole place looks like it's going to hell, and they had a lot of tables just sitting there not bussed. It was about 2pm. Never had a "black thing" before, but I remember sometimes a small piece of "sand" would shatter in my teeth when eating the rice there. I thought it might have been from a shrimp or something, even though I had chicken. But, I thought it may have been a small pieces of chips from the plate. They have plastic plates now at this location... I guess it's all o.k. as long as all the bacteria are killed by the heat of the wok. There are scratches all over the paint on the wall near the paper sculpture and water damage in the latex paint and some of the lamp fixtures are crooked and damaged (how did that happen?), and the pictures on the wall are all crooked.    [23 Dec 2003 17:12:27]
