We Were Treated with Blatant, Outright Prejudice
I, along with my Mother and five others, visited this establishment on Sunday, Mother’s Day, May 9, 2004 and I am appalled at the blatant, outright, prejudice shown us. When our salads arrived, I immediately noticed just how small our salads were. I glanced to my right and noticed white patrons with so much lettuce on their salad plates, the lettuce was falling off! I asked our young waitress the reason for such small salads. She explained that the restaurant was low on lettuce when we received our salads and when the white patrons received theirs, the restaurant had received more. That sounds ludicrous to me, to you? Upon leaving the establishment, the cashier asked how everything was. I told her about the salads and also told her I would write the manager a letter. I stated it probably wouldn’t do any good to write such a letter, to which she responded “it probably wouldn’t!!!”    [11 May 2004 14:40:56]
