Service
I just had dinner this location in Livingston, Texas. Myself and other Petroleum Landman are staying at the Holiday Inn just behind the location. I was told not to try the place for dinner, but I decided to give it a try on my own. I enjoyed the taste of the barbeque, however the total lack of customer service was unbelievable.

The two men who were working behind the counter could care less if we were in the restaurant; they were too concerned about the show on the TV. The TV had been turned around so the staff was the only ones who could see it. The person who took our order did not say a word, when we told him what we wanted, he simply rang it up and the only thing he said during our visit was the price of the order. This person didn't even take the time to make eye contact. This visit was a real shock to me because it was the first business I think I have ever visited that was totally void of customer service. I can now understand why the place does not do a lot of business.

Just thought I would pass this critique along, just in case this restaurant is not just a tax write off.    [16 Mar 2005 19:59:03]

Fair BBQ
The food was priced appropriately - fair food, low prices, friendly service. It was disturbing that a piece of beef was sitting on a cutting board the entire time that we were in the restaurant - the television was pointed completely away from the dining room.
