Best BBQ on the Planet Earth
I have been eating at Inman's since I was in college in 1978 when they were at their other location. And it just gets better and better. I like the beef and don't care much to try anything else, so that is what I recommend you get. They also have great cheese, pies, homemade bread (get there early on Sunday if you want a loaf), Fain's honey, and sometimes even Dr. Pepper in a glass bottle!

I have had BBQ beef all over the United States in large and small places (and yes, only once at the other place in Llano) and find theirs is the best I have eaten. I always order about 20 lbs to take back to Houston with me and wish I lived closer than five hours away. I like their food so much, that my instructor and I took my long-distance flight lesson to Llano and we brought back 12 lbs of sliced beef.

Taste the meat before you put anything on it. If you get just the right piece off of the edge with all of the smoke flavor, it won't need anything else!    [22 Dec 2006 17:18:10]
